SILENCE AND SELF-ENQUIRY

The text Silence and Self-Enquiry is a continuation of the text about who is man’s best friend besides the dog and both are part of a series of texts about how one can easily enrich one’s own life by changing old, stale habits.

There are two worlds – one within you and one outside you.

The first is called the microcosm, the second is the macrocosm. So, you are so much a part of the great cosmos and life is nothing but a perpetual play between these two worlds.

That game is your teacher and, besides to your dog, your best friend.

But if you do not get to know your inner world then there will be no teacher. And then, there is great confusion.

Silence and Self-enquiry.

Harvesting Patience

In silence one learns what patience is.

When you have enough patience then you can begin to look at your own mind and spirit and study the source of your own thoughts, not the source of others’ thoughts. One cannot study the source of someone else’s thoughts.

How can you tell if another person is telling the truth when he complains or when he is talking?

How do you know which source triggers another person’s thoughts? Are they complexes, fears, repressed hatred? Do you, then, voluntarily cooperate on this?

And is the story what someone tells you really what he thinks?

It just seems like a waste of time, this pointless analysis of other people’s stories, especially ordinary, boring chats.

So, to do something really for your own good, study your own words and their sources rather than what you heard on coffee meetings.

You can travel in silence through your own deeds, because, in fact, it never really mattered what others did and do but what you do.

In silence you may find the deed of the day, and its source. Your own deed and its own source.

In silence you can study your fears and their reflections. There are many.

Your dog doesn’t know he has fears. You know, but you don’t know what you know. This is what brings you anguish. That is why makes you feel good next to your dog. He is silent, he is waiting for you and he has no idea of the problems you have created in your own head. Of course dogs are wonderful living beings which we all love and of course he can feel your psyche. But he cannot know the source. Only you can know. And change it, for the better, for you, for him, for all.

– Do we really have to blame only our government, politics, our sister, our brother, our parents, bosses, neighbors or other individuals for our miserable and unfulfilled lives?

No. The darkness of our ignorance is to blame.

– Can we change others?

No. Only ourselves.

– Is taking responsibility for your own life a challenge?

Yes, it is a huge challenge. But also the only real way to finally melt our frozen lives. Yet we are far from an ice age mentality.

Facing fears opens the doors to the mind. One by one.

Doors can only be opened in silence without the audience and not on stage. Silence and self-enquiry give birth to new light of identical frequency.

What Happens to a Man When He Button His Lip

Man is not just an ordinary reproductive machine. That life would be very simple, perhaps happier. We don’t know.

We are not birds and we do not know if birds are happy because they are birds or not. The human mind is very powerful and has its own visions and dreams. The dog’s brain also dreams. We don’t know if the dog can see the aliens or deities in his dream or in reality.

But we humans have a very complex brain that has dreams and visions. They are constantly sending us messages and signals. But the trouble is that many are dormant and these messages never reach them.

For those who have more gifts for the spiritual than for the material it is worth spending some time decoding own visions and dreams. Be careful here because by identifying with fictional things one can easily fall into the trap. And so the game is over, with a tragic end and an even more tragic new beginning.

Some will still be able to recognize, make contact and decode their own visions. Many will not make it in life.

It’s all right.

It is important that one works on one’s own spirituality or self-enquiry, not on other people’s problems. Such action is easy because it requires no effort. Escaping is always an easy choice.

There Are Some Questions Raised

Who I am?       tišina silence

Why did I come here?

What is the essence of my existence?

Life has to be more than just complaining, desiring for impossible things, saving money, emotions and love or paying therapies.

If you invest just a little time in practicing any of the things this web site talks about, your whole life (sadhana, yogic name for practicing) will naturally become self-enquiry.

Silence, Man's Best Friend Besides Dog and Books

The man’s mind is restless matter.

Silence can very successfully tame that messy thing. This is why one should separate from the noisy heads and to come closer to the true values of one’s own, one and only life now, not tomorrow.

If one has a strong will to deprogram old patterns in his mind his innate wisdom will blossom quickly.

One can only perceive the truth when the mind is still.

This is what Yoga Sutra, Gurdjieff and many other philosophers and mystics have said and are saying. And the same is repeated by modern speakers. The values of life have never changed and will never change.

Possessing infinite number of things than a person really does not need, only delusions, lostness, confusion, dissatisfaction, craving and lust for more and thus misunderstandings grow. And the value of life has always been and will remain the selfless love and tranquility of the soul.

Silence and self-enquiry fill your soul. Therefore, accept the risk, be silent, purify your spirit and heart, reflect your own thoughts and emotions, even reading, your words and deeds, and do not advertise the untruth because it will not help either your soul or other.
