WHY TO PRACTICE YOGA AT ALL

BENEFITS OF HATHA YOGA PRACTICE IN EVERY DAY LIFE

We live in the ridiculous centuries of Yoga and I totally understand all the ironic people, all the jokes about yoga and the questions like why to practice yoga at all.

But if practiced with intelligence, complete sincerity, knowledge and an open heart practice of Hatha or any other Yoga will be immense treasure to every individual.

Concentration

We all know how hard it is to live and work with people who are not concentrated.

And also when we are more concentrated, we notice that we are essentially much more intelligent than we think and behave.

Better concentration develops self-confidence and the ability to listen to and respond to our own inner voices instead of constantly allowing ourselves to be controlled by others in our thoughts and reactions.

Practicing Hatha or any other Yoga with a lot of patience and inner devotion develops our concentration.

Those who practice or better “do” body postures with sad craving for handsome muscles or 365 selfies per year, they will not develop concentration. Instead, they will continue to live a life full of complications.
So, the benefits of Yoga practice in every day life that we are here talking about, are not the final definition.

The Art of Distinguishing

Every man has his own manner, his own opinion, his own insight into the “state of affairs”.

People will sometimes tell you so long and extensively about themselves or others, about various facts or theories. Some will even be simply, omniscient.

Many of those who listen, however, are often simply lost in the multitude of information about the nature of things.

The old techniques of Hatha Yoga and other Yogas know how one can bring one’s own and not others’ mind to the utmost in refinement.

Practicing these techniques honestly and with an open heart can help us become true artists in our ability to make a difference.

When the mind is sharpened, it can then make the right decisions and not always the wrong ones on its own, and not with the intrusive interference of others.

The master of these abilities sees things in their natural appearance and without scenery. He reacts fully naturally respecting himself and all other beings.

You should not run from sharp minds but use them for your own good.

Release From Emotional Prison

Many people have an overwhelming desire and an exhausting lust to be first, on top and if possible stay on top as the only ones and forever.

Practicing Hatha or any other type of Yoga, with the full understanding that every human being is, at the end, exactly what he is and that every human being is getting exactly where he needs to be, helps us to get out of that bleak emotional slavery. And thus out of the prison of all that is purely material in nature and what makes us unhappy, or rather dissatisfied because satisfaction is the basis for happiness.

Letting Go, Leaving Everything Behind

When Hatha or any other Yoga is practiced with tenderness then it teaches us to get rid of everything that does not make us satisfied and happy.

People who are determined to get rid of old patterns and accept new ones will surely look “cold” and emotionless to the average.

Practice Hatha or any other Yoga with your lungs open and your heart open. And you will be much stronger to embrace new liberties and get rid of old hard labor. Your passion, on the contrary, will not leave you.

Passion, but in liberty is the greatest possible human happiness.

Criticism, Judging Others and Cynicism are Habits of the Mind

A man who does not constantly criticize himself or others has successfully accomplished a human mission, the transformation of the ego. Such a man knows much more than you think he knows.

Criticism, condemnation and cynicism are always good friends. These are persistent, boring and stubborn habits of mind. Even these habits can be eradicated by practicing Hatha or other type of Yoga.

It’s always better to try it yourself and be your own judge.

You won’t lose anything, even more. You will find that you are much more than a walking calumny and a strict judge of your own and someone else’s life, sometimes even a real cynic that no one needs.

Opening the Heart for the Most Beautiful Human Traits

The hearts of the people are closed, sometimes well wrapped.

Practicing Hatha or other Yoga opens your heart sometimes faster sometimes slower but always without a doubt. The most beautiful human traits enter into your heart without reservation, or rather come back again. These are compassion, tenderness, non-violence, kindness, gentleness.

Nothing is impossible.

Decide to take a challenge of change.

“So plant your own gardens and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.”
